I'm getting much higher framerate in RDR 2. So they fixed this in newer version of RAGE and they are aware of this problem. I don't believe they didn't figure out something is wrong with performance while beta tests. They just don't care
The Combat MG Mk II is an excellent weapon for lesser skilled players primarily seeking DPS (47 damage than the Combat MG's 45). There is pelo suppressor for this weapon, so it's targeted towards players who like to go guns blazing with no consideration towards stealth.

EDIT: one time when going to do scope out with a friend my game crashed but he still got sent to the island- he was unable to see any guards nor could they see him, he was able to pull out his weapons, but was unable to call in or use any vehicles besides the ones already on the island

I’ve been having a glitch in the plasma cutter mission. Once I load into the safe house to take a picture of the planning board, I take a picture of the planning board and attempt to send it to Pavel, it doesn’t give me the option to.
I think that comes from the same problem mentioned here on PC. The update screwed up with the game's performance, regardless of the platform.
